Principal Duties &
Responsibilities:
AWARE's Treatment Service Specialist works primarily on site in a school setting (elementary, middle, or high school) with emotionally disturbed youth.
You may also work with families in the home and with other agency professionals to meet the needs of youth and families.
You will work closely with AWARE's Therapists in providing services.
You may also assist youth in developing coping skills, social/recreational skills, independent living skills, mediation and conflict resolution skills, and problem-solving skills.
You will communicate behavioral and emotional observations to the treatment team and participate in team building meetings and activities.

RequirementsRequired Skills, Abilities & Education A BS/BA Degree in a human services field and minimum of one year of direct work experience (can be substituted based on work past work experience on a case-by-case basis) Ability to develop and implement individual treatment plans.
Knowledge of behavioral, clinical, and mental health interventions, and skill building techniques.
An understanding of the emotional and behavioral needs of the persons served.
Requires moderate computer literacy skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
